The effects of Mobile phones on Society
for example; Researchers in the university of florida argue about the negative effect of mobile phones on the family, such as the lack of quality time between family members, because with mobile phones, the time we spend with our family becomes limited and we lose the personal communication between the members of the family which could lead to unexpected results in family members behavior.
The effect of mobile phones does not only effect our families it also reaches to endangering the health life of many people. as Thomas 2004 agues that mobile phones has a very dangerous effect on brain cells and could cause cancer tumors in it due to the powerful microwaves produced from the mobile phone. also Allen 2008 states that using mobile phones with pregnant women can effect their unborn babies in their wombs and cause future problems in their children behavior.
Although the risks and dangers of mobile phones are proven, there still is lots of benefits gained from using mobile phones. Sedycias 2007 says “Cell phones have been found to be of great help in emergency situations and in times of disasters and natural calamities. These days most cell phones allow users to make `emergency calls`, so that such situations can be easily dealt with.”
Wether the mobile phone has a negative effect on society or not, it is still considered as an essential part of society that is default to live without.

My Life Line
I started my educational life like every other student, started kindergarden when I was 5, then primary school when I was 6, then intermediate school at 13 then high school at the age of 16 just like any other typical student.
The only difference between me and the majority of the students that I knew was that I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grow up, I didn't realize this fact until I heard some of my friends after the graduation ceremony at high school discussing about which university they want to go to. although I had very high grades in high school I was still confused about my future path.
This confusion phase in my life made me decide to take a break from my educational life for a whole year. In this year I joined a petroleum company in my country as volunteer to train me on how to check oil pipes with X-ray and Ultrasonic sounds. I have to say that this break made me more aware on what I wanted to be in the future.
After this training period and some consultations from relatives and friends I decided to enter the engineering field, and that was how I ended up here in chelmsford.
kindergarden >>> primary school >>> intermediate school >>> high school >>> volunteered for one year ( confusion period) >>> university

VARK
Although my results in the "VARK" test shows that I'm the kinesthetic type of a student, I still believe that I'm a more visual person when it comes to learning and understanding things in school. however, I don't deny that I maybe kinesthetic in Cretan areas outside the field of learning and education which is not our topic in the meantime.
Being a kinesthetic person or a visual person or even a read/write person, thats all Ok with me as long as I'm not an Aural person!! I think it's an old fashioned technique and a boring one as well , it reminds me of the time when people used to listen to the radio with nothing to stare at , and its exactly the same thing when listing to long boring traditional lectures in my opinion ;)
There are many deferent kinds of people with many deferent kinds of learning styles that each individual has, but that doesn't mean that you're stuck with it forever. these styles can change in deferent stages of life, for example your style right now is not the same in 5 or 10 years. (http://www.vark-learn.com/english/page.asp?p=faq)
It's very important for a student to know what kind of a learner he/she is, it makes it easer for the student to know in what way he/she is more likely to receive information the right way instead of trying other ways that may make it difficult or consume a lot of time to receive the information they need.
